Personal Trainer/Fitness Instructor/Marital Arts Expert

Carlos is a seasoned martial arts and boxing expert, with a passion for fusing martial arts and fitness into his cutting edge classes and training sessions. He began his Martial Arts training at the age of twelve, and through the years has studied and taught everything from the straight-forward techniques of street fighting, to boxing and Kwando Sparring. Through the years he has also competed and taught, some of the most challenging martial art/fighting techniques including, Jeet Kune Do and Filipino Martial Arts, with Progressive Fighting Systems.

Looking to move beyond just martial arts and boxing, Carlos took his passion for fitness to the next level by pursuing certifications in both group fitness, and personal training. He launched his new career in 1997 at the New York Sports Club.

Throughout his years of practice he has blended the arts with fitness, to create a progressive group of core movements that not only challenges your body, but redefines your perception of strength. Carlos's fitness classes at Beyond Motion are a culmination of more than 30 years of expertise.
