Functional Fitness


Functional Fitness is a catch phrase people often use, without always knowing the true meaning of what "functional fitness" is. Functional fitness is, about training your body to not only look and feel better, but to perform better, by learning to use multiple muscle groups in an integrated way. This could apply to the athlete, or the mom constantly picking up and carrying her child.

Functional fitness workouts challenge the body to work collectively as a whole, firing up the muscles in a sequential pattern. During the Beyond Motion functional fitness program, many aspects of fitness will be addressed including: strength, agility, flexibility, and body composition, just to name a few.
